About Adoya
A brand that started with a single word from my grandmother: "addya Tokyo"
Our brand was born from everyday observations with my family.
A few years ago, my aunt was taking care of my grandmother on her own.
Preparing meals every day, accompanying her to medical appointments, managing her medication... I could see the signs of fatigue gradually growing on my aunt's smiling back.
What stuck with me the most were the words of my grandmother. "I want to eat the same food as everyone else," she said, which left a deep impression on me and became our starting point.
You’ve already been doing more than enough. So you don’t have to do it all alone anymore.
Everyone works very hard every day. Whether they are living alone or supporting their family, they tend to push themselves too hard, thinking, "I have to be strong."
This is especially worrying for family members who live far away.
Even though I want to do something for them because I'm far away, I sometimes wonder what to do or how to be there for them.
So we thought.
What if there was a gift that everyone could enjoy, that would give people an opportunity to say "How are you?" or "Thank you for your hard work"?
I hope that this compassion will help the recipient feel a little better and give them the peace of mind that they are not alone.
When you receive it, you will surely feel comfortable hearing the voice of the person you really want to meet, saying, "This is a message to thank you." It will also bring you peace of mind, knowing that you're not alone.
With this idea in mind, Adoya was born, and the "Thick Lotus Root Blessing Soup" was born.
Nature’s goodness, made easy to enjoy with a gentle thickness.
The natural gentleness of lotus root is wrapped in a thick consistency, and just by pouring hot water over it, the soft and gentle texture will instantly warm your body and mind.
Another appealing feature of this soup is that you can adjust the thickness and consistency to your liking by changing the amount of hot water, so everyone in the family, from children to seniors, can enjoy it at the same table.
No need to bother measuring grams or adding seasonings. Everyone can enjoy the same thing easily, even in the midst of a busy day. We deliver that warm cup of coffee to you.
One cup that carries the giver’s heartfelt wishes.
"How are you doing?" "It's getting cold."
Instead of saying that, give this gentle soup.
Even though I am busy every day away from my parents and the people I love, there are things I want to convey.
We want it to be a gift that people naturally pick up and think, "This will make them happy."
We hope that soup will be an opportunity to spark conversations and smiles.
